29th December 2008

Today Mark went back to work, apparently I am driving him mad with packing and selling everything on Trade Me, he wasn't due back until the 5th January, I mean me, little me driving someone mad can't quite believe it myself !!

Anyway I'm glad he went as today it rained from 10am onwards and he would have driven me insane.

As for me, I went to the vets to get Frankies stitches out then to the supermarket, then to the bank, then to the wood merchants to buy decking to finish the base boards on the house then home. No sooner had I got in the door than the phone wrong with a man wanting to collect Trade Me stuff so that was fine. He was a true Kiwi through and through by that I mean, he hasn't travelled and doesn't see the point of it and isn't NZ enough ? Well hellooooo NO it's not. So needless to say our conversation went along the lines of money changing hands, I'll hold the gate open for you and ta da....

Anyway I think I have managed to condense our lives in to 6 boxes and that will be all we take.

I have started having nightmares, proper nightmares at night time where I wake up freaked out, I'm sure it's nothing and will pass and just means I have a lot on my mind but hey if anyone up there is listening to this, can you make them stop please and while you are at it stop with the earthquakes too as I've had enough two in two days is not funny for the UK girlie who hates them. Thank you ....

Anyway moving on, we should hear tomorrow whether the house is sold so keep everything crossed, if not we have some nice tenants to move in and buy our stock which will be very handy.

Frankie is the cutest puppy ever, how cool is she, she takes herself off to her kennel and run when she gets tired and puts herself to bed !

On that note will sign off with a pic of my girls and love you and leave you, the house is sold the house is sold, opps just ignore me and the power of positive thought, laugh often xxxx

December 27th 2008

Today started just like an other day up we got and let the dogs out, who went wild as usual. I then phoned my girlfriend Jackie whom I hadn't spoken to for months, I keep telling her not to be so tight and pick up the phone, life isn't that busy that you forget your friends, (Jackie I hope you are reading this !). Having said that my own father forgot what day was Christmas Day and forgot to phone me, what's that saying out fo sight out of mind hummmm.....

Anyway so after that we went to town and did the food shopping after popping in to see friends for a coffee. On the way back we got a phonecall about my new BMW that I have for sale, so we quickly came home, grabbed the BMW and went to town. Hopefully the couple will but it as the lady who drove it came back with the same look on her face that I had when Mark gave it to me for my birthday present this year, fingers crossed.

The house sale is still ongoing, a chap turned up and said how much for the house and everything in it so I'm negotiating that for the moment with fingers crossed. Anytime time to put the girls to bed in their kennel and runs for the night and for me to grab a nice glass of red wine and sit in front of the TV for a while.

Catch ya real soon....this is soooo cool, thank you David ...

Boxing Day. We have prospective tenants coming today and I really like them, so they might be the ones who get the house to rent for a year or so. Then after that we have people coming out at 11am to collect some stuff we put on Trade Me.

We have friends coming round later and will have a few drinks so that will be nice, no doubt the puppy and Roxy the Rotweiller will keep us amused for the day as little one has just been speyed so she is couped up in a pen at the moment and driving us wild. She seems to wake up barking and not stop during the Day. I guess the stitches are driving her wild. Christmas Day Frankie ended up with a bucket of water in her face twice and she still carried on barking with a gap of about 20 mins between.

The dogs are costings us $3,300 to take with us to Vancouver then we are being picked up and driven to Salmon Arm whereby the dogs will be let loose and our indoor cat with make herself at home in the log cabin which will be our home for a few weeks.

I am getting very excited now and just simply can't wait.

Christmas Day 2008 New Zealand

Well today is Christmas Day and for the first time ever in my 33 years of being on this planet I didn't get a single present ! Mark decided town was too busy and we didn't need to give eachother presents as we are moving again on the 3rd April 2009 to Canada.

Now the move is totally my fault so I can't blame the guy really, but ho hum thought he might have bought me a card meh huh ?

Anyway so we got worken up at 5am by our adoreable (not) puppy barking her head off so off I trot to the garden to throw a bucket of water over her, then back to bed, 30 mins later she starts again so you can imagine how my morning went. So in the end I gave up and made a coffee logged on here and chatted to David Holder. Now who's David I hear you ask, David is a lovely chap who taught me in one simple email how to do this and now I'm blogging !!

So after this we went down the river with the dogs and gave them a run in the water and then to town to catch up with friends, we bailed when it looked like we were going to get thrown in the pool as I didn't fancy getting back in the BMW soaking wet...

So homewards we headed to let the dogs out meanwhile we watched out neighbours Alpaca giving birth how cute, little black Cria I hope they call her Chrissy .....

Come on Mum, waiting for my mother to wake up in Spain so I can wish her a Happy Christmas. Just received pics from Ashley and Diane in Canada, that's where we will be next year and I am sooo excited.

I also did $150 of Trade Me sales today, I know it's Christmas Day but can I help it if people are sat in front of their computers today ?

So on that note, looks like mother has woken up as she has just popped up on Skype so I'm off then will have a nice big fat glass of wine and watch some tv for a while and that's my Christmas Day.
